This summer, our Bobcats participated in a series of hands‑on learning experiences designed to broaden their world and strengthen life skills. Students explored some of Richmond and Baltimore’s most exciting educational spaces, including the National Aquarium, ICA Contemporary Arts Museum, Studio Two Three, and The Science Museum, where they engaged with art, science, and community in meaningful ways.
We also hosted a pop‑up store, giving students the opportunity to shop for food items to bring home to their families while learning about budgeting and choice‑making. In addition, students received practical instruction on GRTC bus routes and schedules, helping them build confidence in navigating local transportation independently.
It was a summer full of discovery, creativity, and real‑world learning — exactly what enrichment should be.
